Building Communities
 

Shape a new vision: agree vision values and aims for JGS
Develop partnerships with the business community
Further develop partnerships with parents
Engage with wider community to make JGS an Eco-school


Improving Performance

 

Whole school attainment figures continue to improve
Overall quality of learners’ achievement improves through planned activities
Improvement in pastoral support for all learners
Clear and consistently applied behaviour strategies
Increase in range of course provision in senior school
Take forward A Curriculum for Excellence through mediating teaching and learning: cross cutting themes, literacy, numeracy, achievement and health and wellbeing


Leading and Managing Change
 
Implement 3 year strategic plan for review of all HGIOS3* quality indicators as a key Quality Assurance strategy
5 year strategic plan to review and update school policies. Further direct involvement of parents in pupil's learning
Encouraging pupils to take greater responsibility in their own learning
Developing links with the business community
Promote chairing of working groups by staff other than SMT
